FNB Awards Evening - Banking Sector

The JAW Design team was first brought on board in 2020 to conceptualise and implement the very first virtual event production for the Annual FNB Commercial Awards (which celebrated achievements in the Commercial sector throughout the year).

Historically, the awards ceremony was a much-anticipated evening of live fun and interaction, but the COVID-19 pandemic meant we now needed to create a memorable experience online.

The large success of the first virtual event led to a similar styled virtual production for the awards in 2021.

To much excited, we were able to execute a fully hybrid event in 2022, where guests got to experience the “pre-Covid” party they were used to, and the “at-home” guests were still able to participate.

This 3 year project is a perfect example of creative collaboration. Our events team worked hand-in-hand with our production team to ensure both live and virtual audiences enjoyed a seamless, slick and fun-filled event.

The virtual event and live event experiences were curated with precise attention to detail and care, ensuring a conceptual golden thread with strategic execution.

Where creativity
meets purpose

I started JAW in 2010 as my main ‘before I’m 30’ goal. The vision was to create a design agency that wasn’t ‘cool.’ Where you don’t wear sunglasses indoors, hobnob with pretentious crowds or only take on CSI projects to win awards instead of actually making a difference! A place where slippers and a sense of humour are a must, happy hearts fill the space, and design is seen as a tool for change.
